We at NZ Guided Hunts have always loved the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing.

As professional hunters we get to experience this everyday.

Our aim is to encourage others to get out and give it a go.

We can tailor make a package with any combination of the following to suit your needs.

Guided Goat Hunting in the Catlins,

Suitable for Rifle or Bow Hunting

Come and enjoy great scenery, birdlife and fresh air as you hunt in this rugged and remote environment of Southern New Zealand. These hunts can be either carried out in a fair chase setting on private property in the heart of the Catlins where the goats are living mainly in the bush. Or in a more managed setting where the goats are living in pockets of native bush on farmland.

• We can cater for ANY age, gender, or level of fitness.
• No previous hunting experience or firearms license necessary.
• Rifle training and target practice can be given prior to hunt if needed.
• We will provide a rifle and ammunition for anyone requiring it.
• Food and drink (non alcoholic) can be provided.
• Hunt dates can be flexible to suit any schedule
• The guide fee includes travel to and from hunt from any of the following: Wyndham, Edendale, Tokanui, Fortrose or surrounding areas. And we can organize pick ups from further away for a small fee.

If it is a trophy you are after, there is excellent potential here. We will do our best to get you the trophy you want.

We guarantee kills with our non trophy hunts. If you would like to take some meat away we will dress out your animals for you or show you how to do it yourself if you're keen.
